Last year, Delia and I had a lovely commission to make for a client's 50th birthday present. They wanted a nod to the 1950's Festival of Britain logo along with scientific references. The window was an internal one, and so any window needed to bring light from the kitchen into their hall.
I created the central Festival of Britain motif in fused glass, which was beautifully surrounded by Delia's vintage textured clear glass with a design nod to molecular structures with coloured accents using red, clear and blue jewels. Quite a statement piece!
